I was fortunate in that I didn't experience any bruising after my Rhinoplasty, and only mild discomfort. This may, in large part, be due to the skills of the surgeon, but I also did some preparation beforehand. I read a few articles on minimising bruising
and the common themes were to take Vitamin C, Zinc and Arnica Montana,
as well as staying in general good health.
I started taking Effervescent
Vitamin C and Zinc tablets from Tesco everyday
for two weeks before surgery and for ten
days afterwards. I also took Arnica tablets(6c) from Holland & Barrett two days before surgery and for five days after.
This seemed to work for me, but everyone's different. Have a chat with your doctor
or pharmacist before taking any of these supplements.

Rhinoplasty is indeed a delicate procedure and takes patience and of course extra care. I think we have the same blog niche so I am just dropping by as I try to get more info about getting a nose job for myself.
ReplyDeleteBut now, will blog more about it until I learn things before I undergo an operation.
I was told by a doctor to take a little ibuprofen the night before mine, and that seemed to work fairly well for me. However, I do like the idea of using Vitamins and supplementing good nutrition with the supplements you mentioned. Never hurts to have a little extra zinc!
